Papplewick Pumping Station is reliant upon donations and admission fees and receives no external funding from the council or other governmental bodies. In 2019 we were visited by over 13,000 visitors but in 2020 we managed just 1,555 attendees.
Through donations and government grants we have been able to survive the Covid-19 epidemic. However preserving an industrial heritage site such as Papplewick is expensive and time consuming; even more so when trying to rebuild visitor attendances in the wake of Covid. Therefore we humbly ask for your support, no matter how large or small.
Your donation will be very gratefully received and will help us continue to maintain this magnificent engineering and architectural wonder. If possible, please Gift Aid your donation - the government will contribute an additional 25p for every £1 you donate to us. Gift Aid form
We thank you in anticipation of your support. You are contributing to the survival of Papplewick Pumping Station for future generations to enjoy.
