Victorian Day at Papplewick

Session Cost £4 per pupil to cover materials
Session Outline
Learn about life in Victorian times and the importance of the great Victorian engineers in changing people’s lives for the better.
Use dolly tubs and a mangle to wash Miss Miriam’s bloomers. Discover what’s in our treasure chest of Victorian household objects. Play with Victorian toys.
In the afternoon explore some of our splendid Victorian buildings then enjoy a final session in the Learning Loft using dip pens and ink, paper, ribbons and card to make a Victorian style greeting card to take home. Remember to come in Victorian style dress!
